I have received the package yesterday. The pots look beautiful but, a little too small. (The “Product Features” described the pots should be “5″ x 7″ x 13″ ” and, the actual size of the pots is 3.5″ x 3.5″ x 11.5″, the original package of the pots is 4.75″ x 6.75″ x 12.75″ so, even the original package is smaller then the product size described.)
I have not planted the seeds yet so, no comments on the seeds for now.

I have not been able to enjoy the product because it arrived incomple: one of the three pots was missing. I have tried to get reparation from the seller but my efforts have been vain so far. I expect the third pot to be sent to me even if I have to pay for it!

It is rare to find a book that is conceptualized by the photograpber, with writers chosen to add the written word to enhance the beauty of the photography. Dency Kane has a keen eye and a remarkable sense of aesthetics. While one may first think of cool, lush green gardens as the basis of sanctuary, Dency shows how the vibrancy of a tulip or a bird-of-paradise flower-seen up close-can can induce a sense of tranquility or sanctuary as well as the full-blown garden. Her photogrqaphy, juxtaposed with the lyrical text, invites us to explore and celebrate the microcosm that surrounds us. She invokes the beauty in things like a dead zinnia equally with that of a dewy rose. The book is handsome enough to be a coffee table book, inspiring enough to be a garden book, and so well writen and photograpbed that it makes great reading-anytime.

This book won the Quill and Trowel Award of Excellence for Photography given by the Garden Writers Association of America for the Year 2000, tantamount to the Academy Awards for Garden Writers! The photography is truly exceptional.

I used this product to set up my garden last year – other than the cost of it, I am very happy with the product and design. It is very easy to assemble and disassemble and you have a lot of options for the layout of your garden in case you want to change it in the future. The greatest thing about this product is that I do not have to worry about a wood frame rotting out and having to replace it and I do not have to worry about the chemicals from pressure treated wood seeping into the soil (especially important for a vegetable garden). My only complaint is that it is so short. I have been buying two and stacking them on top of each other so it is more of a raised bed. At $100+ each, it can get pretty expensive… but I hope that they will last a long time to prove they are worth the price!

Does everything that is advertised. Very easy to install and it looks great. A bit expensive, but you pay for durability.

I bought a variation of this kit at a local home improvement outlet, same manufacturer but with 10 planks and hardware. The price was only $83, so shop around before you buy. Plastic planks are a major advantage to me, since I don’t want to worry about replacing rotting wood. The kit components appear to be sturdy and went together easily, though screwing the connectors on to each end was tedious (use a drill). The planks are only 5-1/2 inches high, so unless you are planting a tiny flower bed you will need to stack them, but this is really easy to do. I’m starting with a 2-high stack, but you can add additional planks if you need them at any time. It took me two afternoons to assemble my raised bed out of two kits. In all, this is a great product.

These solar lights work well and look very nice at night in my garden. They are just way too expensive for what they are. I bought a similar
solar garden light at my local hardware store for $9.50. These are pretty much the same thing but more costly. So although I like and would recommend
the product, I don’t think they’re worth what they cost.
